2017 Mazda CX-9 Salem

If you are looking for a spacious award-winning SUV to drive around Salem, then the Mazda CX-9 may be the perfect solution. This particular Mazda SUV has already received a large number of awards and accolades. It was recently able to add yet another to its list thanks to the Texas Auto Writers Association.

Winning Full-Size CUV

At the 26th Texas Truck Rodeo in October, the 2017 Mazda CX-9 got yet another award to add to its growing list, taking home the highest honor among full-size CUVs. During the Texas Truck Rodeo, the judges evaluated over 70 vehicles in 17 different categories. The 2017 CX-9 is all-new and received top marks, particularly in performance for its new SKYACTIV-G 2.5T engine, premium interior finishes, overall appeal, and exterior styling. The Texas Auto Writers Association praised the CX-9 for its rewarding dynamics, family-friendliness, style, and efficiency.

Other Awards and Accolades

Just before the Texas Truck Rodeo, the 2016 Mazda CX-9 was named to the shortlist for the 2017 World Car of the Year nominees. This isn’t a first for Mazda. The 2016 MX-5 earned both the World Car Design of the Year and the World Car of the Year, both this year. MotorTrend has also praised the CX-9 for its ability to create a fun-to-drive vehicle that provides efficient transportation for the family. Kelley Blue Book’s KBB.com praised the CX-9’s ability to maintain sleek styling and a rewarding driving experience in a larger vehicle. Of course, Mazda as a brand has also received honors, like being the 2016 Best Car Brand according to U.S. News & World Report. This shows that the CX-9 is just one of many award-winning models from the automaker that should be recognized.
